Job Summary

Support credit risk assessment and structuring for mid-market corporate relationships within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group. Partner with Relationship Managers and customers to prepare credit proposals (new, renewals, amendments), liaise with Credit Risk Management and Compliance, and review deal and facility structures against credit and operational risk policies. Maintain high-quality, timely turnaround, monitor portfolio exposures and risk profiles (including RAROC/profitability), and manage Early Alert reviews and supervisory escalation.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with financial analysis, credit risk assessment, risk rating, and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships.
•Prepare and manage Credit Proposals (new, annual renewals, amendments) and resolve risk and compliance queries with Credit Risk Management and the Compliance Unit.
•Review deals, facility structures, and credit products/services, and propose solutions within credit and operational risk guidelines and policies.
•Ensure proposal terms match client expectations; monitor exposures along with RAROC and overall profitability and recommend actions when risk profiles change.
•Review Early Alert instances and escalate to the Direct Supervisor; step into the RM role during RM absence and guide the team.

Key Requirements

•7-9 years of experience in credit and/or financial analysis in banking or related fields.
•A degree in business or economics; post-graduate diploma / Chartered Accountancy considered an asset.
•Local market knowledge and sufficient knowledge of the bank’s products and operating systems.
•Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic language skill is an added advantage.
•Knowledge of banking laws and local regulations.
