Job Summary

Own and grow enterprise customer relationships as a security-focused technical advisor. Partner with Product Security, engineering, and support teams to troubleshoot and remediate issues, perform security impact analysis for Red Hat software changes, and guide customers on security paradigms and best practices. Support proactive monitoring, triage and patching via Project Lightwell, deliver portfolio and upgrade guidance, and help accelerate secure software supply chain through OS patching at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Liaise with Red Hat Product Security and partners on behalf of customers, serving as a customer advocate.

•Facilitate customer use of Project Lightwell to coordinate scanning, triage, patching, and backporting.
•Mentor security and operations staff on security attributes and best practices for Red Hat software, and share knowledge via the Red Hat knowledge base.

•Associates' or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline.
•Red Hat Certified RHCE (RHCA preferred) and preferred security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity).
•10+ years of experience in a security role or related areas such as customer support, development, engineering, or QA.
•Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible, along with strong understanding of CI/CD concepts.
