Key Responsibilities

  • •Conceive, prioritize, and implement digitalization and automation initiatives across product development and engineering-relevant process interfaces
  • •Develop and execute the roadmap for digital solutions and process automation with development, product management, and stakeholders
  • •Identify, evaluate, and implement digitalization/automation opportunities in AL-KO ART regulation technology, the AL-KO Remote Control IoT portal, product configuration tools, and production-adjacent processes
  • •Translate technical, process, and business requirements into concepts, functional building blocks, and feasible implementation measures
  • •Lead and support prototyping, validation, testing, and iterative improvements; assess technologies, architectures, and make-or-buy options

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Data Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Technology Management, or a comparable program
  • •Alternatively, a completed technical apprenticeship with relevant further training and solid work experience in a product-related technical environment
  • •Several years of experience in conceiving, developing, technically steering, or implementing digital/software-based solutions in a product-adjacent context
  • •Solid knowledge of modern digital technologies and methods, ideally including data-based systems and automated decision/process support
  • •Strong understanding of translating technological opportunities into practical, economically sensible product and process solutions
