Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the assigned branch office to stay aware of home loan products.
  • •Handle and follow up on referrals from the branch office and develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
  • •Interview borrowers, collect required documentation, and deliver loan packages to the processor in a timely manner.
  • •Analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness and make credit decisions using daily rates, credit reports, and DU responses.
  • •Maintain customer service standards and complete required compliance training (including BSA/AML) and attend lending meetings as required.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year college degree equivalent plus 4 years related experience and/or training (and 2 years related management experience or equivalent combination).
  • •Broad knowledge across accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and understand business/company articles and professional journals; communicate effectively with customers or employees.
  • •Ability to analyze financial data and calculate figures and amounts involving interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • •S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required at the time of employment.
