Key Responsibilities

  • •Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers; recommend renewal actions.
  • •Develop and maintain client and carrier relationships; act as subject matter expert on Health & Welfare benefits and related vendor/carrier services.
  • •Maintain project plans to deliver client work on time; delegate tasks to more junior team members and oversee open enrollment deliverables.
  • •Explain and ensure compliance with legislative guidelines and plan rules (including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and Health Care Reform).
  • •Review RFPs and insurance plan analyses, oversee implementations of new business, and enter client data into Salesforce.

Salary: USD 60,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of health and welfare consulting experience, with typically more than 8 years of industry and product line experience.
  • •BA/BS preferred.
  • •Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required.
  • •Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with commanding presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • •Experience acting independently while anticipating client and team needs, with clear written and oral communication.
