Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with engineering on initial 2D product concepts.
  • •Create 3D product models, outlines, and layout; develop solid model piece parts and housings in NX and support movement toward Model-Based Definition for direct manufacture.
  • •Apply tolerance stack-up analysis results to ensure correct fit/alignment and performance of complex assemblies.
  • •Create NX assemblies and manage the bill of materials; produce dimensioned detail component drawings for high complexity piece parts.
  • •Lead detailing drafters and check drawings for accuracy, correct GD&T, and compliance to company/industry standards; support interface with Structures and ensure controlled filing/export classification of design data.

Key Requirements
