  • •Own holistic global and regional account business plans covering customer penetration, growth opportunities, relationship deepening, and pipeline development to increase spend.
  • •Lead contract negotiation strategy and management for renewals, RFP responses, and pricing proposals.
  • •Maintain detailed understanding of customer industries, financials, business risks, and align needs to American Express commercial payment products and services.
  • •Partner across American Express global matrix teams to cross-sell complementary products and coordinate internal stakeholders to meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience in client management, sales, and/or business development with multinational, enterprise-level companies in T&E commercial card payments and procure-to-pay/payment solutions.
  • •Proven track record driving growth and sales with global clients by developing/managing a robust pipeline and progressing opportunities through consultative selling.
  • •Experience in global contract management, including leading complex negotiations and collaborating with matrixed, decentralized global teams.
  • •Ability to develop and execute a work plan, strategy, and action plan, including assembling presentations for outcomes with Procurement, Finance, and Treasury.
  • •Evidence of managing global programs and projects with cross-functional teams; lead with influence in ambiguous environments and manage escalations to influence decisions.
