Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and support health, safety and environmental projects/programs, including planning, coordination, execution, and tracking deliverables for compliance.
  • •Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (air, water, waste, and hazardous materials).
  • •Review permits, plans, records, and monitoring data to verify regulatory adherence and permit conditions; identify violations and risks and produce inspection reports.
  • •Investigate citizen complaints, spill reports, or alleged violations and determine appropriate enforcement or corrective actions; communicate findings and guidance to facility representatives.
  • •Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders; maintain inspection records, databases, and tracking systems; interpret and apply relevant regulations to compliance determinations.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in related sciences.
  • •2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency) supporting environmental projects related to health and safety and environmental compliance.

  • •Ability to meet medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical exam.
