Job Summary

Drive multiple security programs and help ensure the engineering team stays on a path of success by building a culture of accountability and ownership for security. Own and advance the vulnerability management program, using metrics and regular program reviews to communicate performance to peer teams and upper management. Lead cross-functional, multi-geo projects with software engineers, product managers, and engineering leaders, while improving program tools and practices and mentoring the team.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the vulnerability management program by prioritizing, communicating, and driving a culture of ownership across business units for security issues with support from security engineering.
•Drive metrics and program review to communicate performance and foster accountability with peer teams and upper management.
•Provide expert project leadership for highly visible, multi-faceted projects, coordinating across teams and working with software engineers, engineering leaders, and product managers across geographies.
•Build and improve project management tools and ongoing practices, and mentor the team around best practices.
•Support business management activities such as calendar management and vendor coordination for TISO and CI&SO.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
•5+ years of experience in technical program management.
•2+ years exposure to security (preferred), site reliability engineering, or software engineering.
•Ability to understand IT concepts such as web applications and servers and be relatively tech savvy.
