Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily workflow and claim system follow-ups, including reviewing new claim assignments within 24 hours and maintaining reminders and accurate claim notes.
  • •Contact insured/claimant within 24 hours, gather evidence, and interview or obtain recorded statements from claimants, insureds, and witnesses.
  • •Assign appraisers or coordinate estimates and determine whether estimates/appraisals are appropriate based on reported damages and evidence.
  • •Follow client and policy procedures for claim handling, denial, internal investigation reports when permitted, Medicare-related reporting, and responding to reservation of rights letters.
  • •Meet performance expectations such as a 95% claim closure ratio, handle summons/complaints by notifying supervisor and client and coordinating with defense counsel, and obtain defense counsel status reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Possession of an Adjuster license and maintenance of CEU credits for licensure.
