Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct research and analysis for planning policy projects.
  • •Support planning policy work including local authority policy/strategy development, local plan evidence studies, strategic growth studies, and infrastructure strategy commissions.
  • •Assist in formulating strategic planning advice for client and internal teams.
  • •Represent the organization by developing client, local authority, and stakeholder relationships and attending conferences/networking events.
  • •Assist project managers with delivery (budget, timelines), coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and uphold quality assurance and health and safety principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant experience contributing to planning policy and strategy development in a consultancy or public sector role.
  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, and membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (or working towards membership).
  • •Client-focused approach with good interpersonal skills and collaborative working style.
  • •Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate effectively.
  • •Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure, with a high level of commitment to quality.
