Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor 220 kV GIS, 33 kV, and 6.6 kV electrical distribution systems, ensuring safe and reliable HT/LT power.
  • •Perform electrical switching, isolation, energization, shutdowns, and monitor electrical parameters such as load distribution and power quality.
  • •Operate and maintain GIS/substation equipment, including SF₆ gas parameters, GIS breakers/disconnectors, routine inspections, and condition monitoring.
  • •Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance; troubleshoot electrical faults; coordinate rapid restoration and conduct RCA for equipment failures.
  • •Support critical utilities (HVAC plants, chillers, air/water/wastewater systems, gas systems, cleanroom utilities) and maintain shift logs and maintenance records in CMMS/SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5–10 years of experience supporting semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, electronics manufacturing, or industrial utilities/process manufacturing facilities.
  • •Hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-voltage electrical systems including 220 kV GIS, 33 kV distribution, 6.6 kV power networks, transformers, switchgear, and UPS/DG systems.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults, restore systems quickly, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
  • •Proficiency with CMMS/SAP PM and electrical monitoring/automation tools (e.g., SCADA, BMS, EMS, PMS).
