Job Summary

Join the Distribution System Operation (DSO) – Strategic Projects & Optimisations team to support Net Zero delivery across SP Energy Networks. You’ll maintain stakeholder and regulatory relationships, support reviews of energy planning strategies, and contribute to risk assessment and data requests. The role also involves strategic optimisation and LCT optioneering, reporting and analysis (including DARs and internal updates), and representing the business at industry forums.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and maintain relationships across local, regional, and national bodies to support energy planning activities
•Support reviews and inputs to LAEPs, LHEES, LDP and equivalent strategies as required
•Support risk assessment and processing of data requests from external parties, engaging stakeholders in energy planning meetings and forums
•Provide strategic input for Strategic Optimisation and LCT optioneering using technical network analysis, project management, and cross-department coordination to deliver regulatory outputs
•Deliver project support including implementation of key DSO requirements (ED2) and preparations for ED3, plus reporting/analysis and support for more junior team members
