Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide PM leadership for high-voltage and EHV Substation and Transmission projects across multiple complexity levels.
  • •Oversee detailed design, budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk contingencies; ensure contractual obligations and client expectations are met.
  • •Develop stakeholder engagement strategies, maintain relationships, and report project progress including monthly status, safety incidents, and major issues.
  • •Support pursuit/initiation activities including “Go / No-Go” decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews; participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
  • •Drive QA/QC through technical reviews, maintain required project documentation (e.g., Risk, PMP, Project Quality, Safety, Communications), and lead kick-off, closeout, and lessons-learned activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field within the Power & Energy market.
  • •12+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
  • •5+ years of experience providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
  • •5+ years leading engineering and/or construction teams on high-voltage and EHV Substation and Transmission projects for medium to large utility-scale clients.
  • •Proficiency with project delivery tools/processes including contract management, Earned Value Management, change/risk management, and schedule management (e.g., Primavera P6).
