Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive vehicles to and from customer or vendor lots while observing auction driving rules and defensive driving practices.
  • •Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day, including manual and automatic vehicles.
  • •Verify VINs against transportation requests and ensure vehicles are lined up and parked in the correct order.
  • •Perform vehicle handling tasks such as moving vehicles, inflating tires, jump-starting with a battery box and air tank, and dispensing fuel.
  • •Perform pre-move walk-arounds to note damage and report breakdowns or accidents to your manager, while providing prompt customer service.

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements with a clean driving record.

  • •Drive a variety of vehicle make/model/sizes and be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (standard transmission preferred).
  • •Understand and apply lot organization, safety, and directions using basic reading and number comprehension skills.
