Key Responsibilities

•Drive vehicles to and from customer or vendor lots while observing auction driving rules and defensive driving practices.
•Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day, including manual and automatic vehicles.
•Verify VINs against transportation requests and ensure vehicles are lined up and parked in the correct order.
•Perform vehicle handling tasks such as moving vehicles, inflating tires, jump-starting with a battery box and air tank, and dispensing fuel.
•Perform pre-move walk-arounds to note damage and report breakdowns or accidents to your manager, while providing prompt customer service.

Key Requirements

•Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements with a clean driving record.
•Follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
•Drive a variety of vehicle make/model/sizes and be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (standard transmission preferred).
•Understand and apply lot organization, safety, and directions using basic reading and number comprehension skills.
•Read and comprehend motor vehicle traffic signs and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
