  • •Lead a team of 8–15 engineers and analysts to realize mission planning team objectives.
  • •Serve as the subject matter expert for mission planning and develop common mission planning solutions across programs, Captures, and IRADs.
  • •Execute a portfolio of project work for programs, Captures, and IRADs, both individually and with the team.
  • •Provide guidance, direction, mentoring, and team support while fostering teamwork and interdependent execution.
  • •Participate in talent acquisition, goal setting, performance development, and appraisal; ensure direct reports have suitable work assignments and growth opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • •Experience with mission planning for weapons, system performance, CONOPS, or algorithms and signal processing.
  • •Experience with aerodynamics, Launch Acceptability Regions, or modeling and simulation (including 6-DOF).
  • •Experience with software architecture, design, development, integration, and verification (including Linux, virtual machines, C#, C++, or Java).
  • •Experience with aircraft integration and store interface (including MIL STD 1553 and 1760).
