Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive development of interactive web applications and platforms integrating with the core event-driven architecture (Kafka).
  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
  • •Own full-stack and infrastructure technical context, guiding modern web standards, API design, and event-driven patterns.
  • •Write and own production-quality code across GraphQL APIs, streaming consumers, and interactive front-ends; raise the bar via PR reviews.
  • •Mentor engineers and influence technical direction by collaborating with senior leadership to establish well-designed, well-documented cloud architectures.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and operating large-scale, cloud-native applications in production.
  • •Hands-on production experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React for back-end and interactive front-ends.
  • •Hands-on experience with database systems, e.g., PostgreSQL.
  • •Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • •Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production, including consuming from and interacting with event streams.
