Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, onboard, coach, and retain the Solutions Engineering team with coverage across the East territories.
  • •Set technical quality standards for demos, trial plans, site assessments, and customer-facing documentation.
  • •Own the technical win across the East majors portfolio, serving as the senior escalation point for critical pursuits, deployments, and issues.
  • •Lead integration and airspace strategy, including CAD/dispatch, video/evidence management, streaming platforms, BVLOS approvals, waivers, COAs, and docked operations.
  • •Represent the customer internally by turning field observations into prioritized requirements and building scalable enablement assets and reference architectures.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant technical experience, including time in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, field engineering, or applications engineering).
  • •1+ years leading a technical team (or first-time manager with hiring/mentorship responsibility).
  • •Strong understanding of drone technology, Public Safety sUAS operations, and regulatory compliance, including Drone as First Responder concepts and dock-based remote operations.
  • •Working knowledge of Public Safety technologies (including CAD, VMS, and related software platforms) and ability to lead integration discussions.
  • •Comfort operating inside a Sales organization, including owning deal strategy and knowing when to commit technical resources or decline.
