Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial services at assigned military installations to service members and their families.
  • •Deliver the full range of personal financial counseling services, including one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings/presentations, and referrals.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and deliver personal financial management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Work with installation and military branch points of contact to ensure the program is within scope and meets installation needs, including supervision and training activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (associate degree plus 4 years, or high school diploma plus 6 years may be considered in lieu).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
