Job Summary

Operate and maintain a forklift to support production by supplying raw materials, moving finished goods to staging/storage, and loading trucks to meet delivery requirements. Use work instructions, computer interface, and RF scanner to print/scan Bill of Lading, complete logs, and ensure inventory accuracy. Inspect goods for quality defects, follow HACCP/GMP and safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and train other team members as needed.

•Operate and maintain a forklift safely and efficiently using work instructions, visual management, and computer interface.
•Supply production with raw materials and inspect finished goods for quality defects.
•Print and scan Bill of Lading for finished goods using computer interface and RF scanner.
•Transfer finished goods to staging/storage and load onto trucks in a timely manner to meet delivery requirements.
•Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete all written logs/data input, while following HACCP, GMP, and Product Safety rules.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience; 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training.
•Valid driver’s license and forklift certification meeting OSHA requirements.

•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with employees and/or customers.
•Ability to complete written logs/data input accurately and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds.
