Key Responsibilities

  • •Create security test plans and test artefacts to support BU Product Certification efforts.
  • •Own Security Verification and Validation for major and minor releases by executing security requirement, threat mitigation, static code analysis, attack surface analysis, and software composition analysis.
  • •Coordinate with an independent penetration test team for abuse/fuzz testing, known vulnerability scanning, penetration tests, and PSIRT-specific testing.
  • •Support development teams by validating fixes before sharing builds with the independent penetration test team.
  • •Generate project metrics and report local management for all activities, contributing to assigned initiatives and working in the engineering laboratory for product/system-level testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of relative experience.
  • •3-5 years of experience with product security standards and initiatives, or practical verification/validation experience for products, services, and solutions.
  • •Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks including IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP.
  • •Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and CVSS scoring.
  • •Prefer experience in industrial control systems (ICS), embedded systems, or network security and secure-by-design practices.
