Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the safety of guests and employees in the designated swimming areas during posted business hours.
  • •Maintain pool/beach safety setup (flotation devices, correct flags, rescue surfboard/boat ready, first-aid kit, posted business hours and pool conditions).
  • •Ensure a rescue boat with engine is available at all times and respond to emergencies in the pool area.
  • •Monitor and control windsurfers, sailors, and sea bikes while supervising rescues if needed.
  • •Log windsurfers/sailing boats/sea bikes and crew, manage temporary coverage during breaks, and perform duties per hotel policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Certified Life Guard of any world Life Guard Associations with active status.
  • •Ability to perform artificial resuscitation (mouth-to-mouth) and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
  • •Maintain designated swimming areas and keep swimmers/snorkelers out of hazardous areas such as boat tracks.
  • •Respond promptly to emergencies within the hotel pool/swimming area.
  • •Ensure water sports/pool activities follow the Security Rules and report/rectify hazards immediately.
