Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for investor reporting, including footnotes and MD&A disclosures.
  • •Drive financial close and reporting deliverables, including cash flow statements, balance sheet/income statement reviews, and quarterly EBITDA reconciliation.
  • •Own technical accounting and policy work across ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 715, ASC 718, and ASC 350, including impairment assessment coordination.
  • •Coordinate with external auditors by managing data preparation, delivery, follow-up, and proactive discussions for audit requirements.
  • •Use finance systems (e.g., HFM, Wdesk/Workiva, SAP/JDE, Hyperion, Blackline, AuditBoard) to ensure accurate reporting and support special projects/ad-hoc analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in variance accounting and finance roles, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG).
  • •Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP and strong understanding of SEC requirements for end-to-end financial statement preparation.
  • •Advanced technical accounting knowledge including Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Lease Accounting (ASC 842), Pension Accounting (ASC 715), Share-Based Compensation (ASC 718), and Intangibles & Goodwill (ASC 350).
  • •Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight close/reporting timelines with high-quality output.
  • •Strong communication skills and experience partnering with senior management/executive levels to assess risk and escalate with alternatives.
