Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy supplier development and improvement processes across the supply chain to improve quality and delivery performance.
  • •Interface with engineering, customers, and suppliers on quality issues and manage communications using internal tracking methods (e.g., nonconformance records).
  • •Monitor, track, and report supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery responsiveness) and drive corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.
  • •Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms, perform tests, and document test results; assemble and verify customer PPAP submissions as needed.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable standards and participate in audits, risk analyses, and corrective action activities (including root cause corrective action using 8D).

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Minimum 2 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Minimum 1 year working with metrology, gages, and measurement techniques.
  • •Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Minimum 2 years experience working directly with customers or suppliers on quality-related issues.
