Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute category/commodity management strategies, including supplier relationship management, negotiation, risk management, and supply base performance.
  • •Run strategic sourcing projects using a best-practice 7-step sourcing methodology, including RFP/RFI analysis, business case development, and should-cost modeling.
  • •Lead negotiations to maximize total value and minimize risks, and coordinate with legal to establish contract terms and conditions.
  • •Provide sourcing category expertise across insourcing vs. outsourcing models and identify opportunities for profit improvement beyond cost.
  • •Conduct procurement analysis using spend analytics and total cost of ownership insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives post-project.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA degree in supply chain, business, or STEM.
  • •5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with increasing complexity.
  • •Deep experience designing end-to-end procurement strategies and leading high-impact sourcing approaches beyond tendering.
  • •Strong supplier management and category management experience, including opportunity diagnostics and strategic sourcing process leadership.
  • •Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (e.g., ROI, supplier scorecards, savings tracking) and proficiency with tools like Excel and sourcing/ERP platforms.
