Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and perform routine preventative maintenance on Epiroc machines in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair equipment using analytical skills and run diagnostics to determine possible causes and initiate repairs.
  • •Execute troubleshooting/repairs for hydraulic and electrical systems, including diagnostics on malfunctioning components.
  • •Ensure appropriate tools and equipment are on-site and properly maintained, and communicate service activities to the service coordinator in a complete and timely manner.
  • •Follow safety and environmental requirements (including correct PPE use) and support higher-level tasks like testing/documenting operating parameters and performing failure analysis/root-cause corrective actions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment, with mechanical aptitude including experience with industrial/commercial fluid power and low-voltage electrical control systems.
  • •Possess own hand tools and expand tool inventory using the required Epiroc tool list based on location requirements.
  • •Complete required company trainings (including PDI procedure, machine specifications, reading schematics within 3 months, and Safe Start Modules 1-5) within the stated timelines.
  • •Maintain required US Department of Labor MSHA Training Certificates (or agree to complete the training program(s) needed).
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel for training and/or assistance in other service centers.
