Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, supervise, coach, and hold drivers accountable, including performance reviews, attendance, overtime, and corrective actions.
  • •Build and own daily/weekly schedules, route assignments, and workload balancing to meet delivery windows and site priorities.
  • •Direct loading, unloading, and material handling; ensure loads are secured and forklift/equipment use meets safety standards.
  • •Ensure transport compliance with CDL, Hours of Service, ELD, and DOT regulations; review delivery documentation and audit paperwork accuracy.
  • •Oversee barcode scanning and WMS/ERP transactions to meet inventory, receiving, and chain-of-custody requirements, and investigate incidents to drive root-cause corrections.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • •3+ years of commercial driving experience (short-haul required; long-haul preferred)
  • •2+ years of formal supervisory or people-leadership experience over drivers, transportation, or warehouse/logistics teams
  • •Experience enforcing safety and compliance standards (DOT/HOS) in a regulated environment
