Key Responsibilities

  • •Use library management systems and supplier databases to identify, order, track, and check/receipt newly purchased print and electronic materials.
  • •Create, edit, and review university reading lists using library management systems.
  • •Process and fulfil inter-library loan requests via library systems and external catalogues, including ordering, receipting/returning, monitoring progress, and liaising to resolve queries.
  • •Work with spreadsheet reports to create orders, update library systems, and collate information.
  • •Provide information and advice to colleagues and library users, owning queries to resolution, and process invoices in line with library/university financial procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •GCSEs to a minimum of grade C/4 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent level 2 qualification).
