Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening/scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Drive work across project life stages from early strategy and site identification through feasibility, optioneering, design, discharging conditions, construction, and operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards and compliance requirements under rigorous quality management procedures.
  • •Use project management to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Collaborate with integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, deliver impact avoidance/mitigation solutions, and communicate opportunities to deliver benefits.

Key Requirements

  • •Interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and relevant consenting and licensing regimes (experience with DCO and/or TWAO is a bonus).
  • •Experience delivering consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Excellent verbal, report writing, and technical review skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders and building relationships.
  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline, preferably at Masters level, with appropriate professional membership; Chartered Environmentalist status is advantageous.
