Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead aeromechanics, thermal, and acoustic design and analysis for prototype vehicles, including aerodynamic performance modeling, thermal management, and noise/acoustic signature analysis.
  • •Support rapid prototyping end-to-end, from concept sizing and modeling through bench/ground test and flight test support.
  • •Own the aeromechanics/thermal/acoustics discipline in Special Programs by setting technical approach, standards, and analysis methods across the program.
  • •Conduct technical feasibility assessments for emerging concepts, RFPs, and mission requirements within your focus area.
  • •Create technical documentation, trade studies, and analysis packages for design maturity reviews and opportunity/capture decisions, and represent the work in internal and (as needed) government discussions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 138,200 - 190,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
  • •Demonstrated experience in aerodynamic performance analysis, thermal management design, or acoustic/noise analysis for aerospace platforms.
  • •Familiarity with modeling tools including CFD and thermal/fluid and acoustic prediction methods.
  • •Ability to work across the full development lifecycle from concept through prototype in a fast-paced environment.
  • •8–12 years of relevant engineering experience (or equivalent), plus must be a U.S. Person (ITAR/EAR) and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
