Key Responsibilities

  • •Design building electrical systems from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy, including writing internal/external reports.
  • •Complete routing engineering assignments and calculations across varied project types and markets.
  • •Stay current on codes and technologies for power, lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems.
  • •Research, design, specify, and witness testing of electrical systems, equipment, components, and materials.
  • •Coordinate with clients and multiple disciplines; act as electrical point of contact, manage multiple projects, and mentor/review others’ work.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or similar plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
  • •Strong knowledge of building electrical codes and standards, including NEC, WSEC, UFC, ASHRAE, and IECC.
  • •Experience designing building electrical systems for a variety of project types/markets.
  • •Federal project experience, including agency standards, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance.
