Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively use CAMP and approved marketing tools, set appointments for periodic reviews, and collaborate with business partners to refer customers while processing teller transactions and supporting platform staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and onsite presentations.
•Process teller transactions and support the platform staff while participating in the consumer loan and bankcard process from application through closing.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and cross-sell established customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Must have S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
