Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform operational tasks including daily checks across CHPP, Raw Coal, Product Yard, and overland conveying systems, and respond to breakdowns and process faults.
  • •Operate the train loadout and conduct control room operations.
  • •Optimize CHPP coal handling and preparation plant operations through quality workmanship.
  • •Collaborate with maintenance and production teams (including contractors) to manage equipment reliability and resolve issues affecting all areas.
  • •Maintain equipment inspections, housekeeping, safety process compliance, and participate in continuous improvement programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a relevant Electrical Trade and license.
  • •Hold relevant CHPP qualifications/experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience in a Coal Handled Prep Plant and exposure to a mining environment.

  • •Knowledge and experience applying Safety Processes and Procedures, with strong communication and teamwork.
