Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee internal investigations related to fraud, misconduct, and compliance violations, including incident response and legal risk assessments.
  • •Lead and manage litigation and arbitration matters, including scoping and managing external counsel, and provide strategic legal advice and recommendations.
  • •Provide proactive dispute resolution and compliance advisory support to business units, including review/validation of submissions to UAE judicial authorities.
  • •Lead corporate transactions covering M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring, including drafting/reviewing key transaction and incorporation documents and managing due diligence workstreams.
  • •Advise on corporate financing transactions and oversee alignment with structure, timelines, risk allocation, and budgets; support governance and compliance alignment with UAE laws.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.
  • •Minimum 10–16 years’ experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal function with UAE specific experience.
  • •Strong experience in investigations, M&A and corporate transactions, and corporate finance.
  • •Preferably telecom and regulatory sector experience with familiarity with UAE-specific frameworks.
  • •Exposure to data protection, cyber incident response, and governance frameworks is an added advantage.
