Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues faster using data across hundreds of makes/models and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and on customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Maintain daily electronic/paperwork documentation; assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred (EPA 608 certification preferred; obtainable within 6–12 months).
