Job Summary

Lead construction projects for higher education clients, interfacing with clients and consultants across all project stages. Own financial management, detailed project planning, performance monitoring, and change control. Drive governance, reporting, and quality control while coordinating regular meetings and written communication. Provide strategic advice during project conception, support proposals for new work/variations, and identify improvements to project management tools and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Interfacing with clients and other consultants across all project stages.
•Performing financial management, including prompt client invoicing and monitoring project financial status.
•Producing detailed project plans and monitoring performance management techniques to ensure delivery on quality, schedule, and efficiency.
•Managing change control and establishing project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project.
•Preparing formal budget progress and other reports while ensuring quality compliance and building proposals for new work or variations.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of project management experience on public sector construction projects, including work such as renovations, deferred maintenance, and tenant improvements.
•Experience managing budgets and schedules and providing strategic advice during the project conception stage.
•Strong organization plus excellent written and verbal communication skills in a client-facing role.
•BS degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture (AA may be acceptable with sufficient experience).
•Experience using PMiS software; skilled in MS Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam; relevant professional membership preferred (CCM, PMP, PE).
