Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time, following routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading and arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork; perform routine service checks and report maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the weight of the vehicle.
  • •Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs), background testing, and required federal/state drug testing (including a 10-panel drug screen).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
