Job Summary

Perform general assembly work in the manufacturing plant, including manual assembly of seat parts, stores duties, leather work, machine operations, and preparing/painting finished parts. Assemble and install electrical and/or mechanical components using blueprints, wire lists, and shop practices. Follow the production build plan and team lead instructions, support on-time delivery through daily/monthly targets, and ensure quality and EH&S compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake general assembler duties, including manual assembly of seat parts, stores duties, leather work, machine operations, and preparing/painting finished parts.
•Assemble and/or install electrical and mechanical components per specified operation/sequence using blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or shop practices.
•Follow the production build plan and team lead instructions, performing routine preparation tasks for assembly.
•Use small hand tools (e.g., soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers) to complete assembly tasks.
•Support on-time delivery and quality by working with Manufacturing Support and Quality teams, and adhere to EH&S practices across the site.

Key Requirements

•Ability to perform a range of general assembler duties within the manufacturing plant, including manual assembly and preparation of parts.
•Ability to assemble and/or install electrical and/or mechanical components based on blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, and shop practices.
•Ability to perform routine preparation tasks for assembly and work across multiple assembly skill levels.
•Ability to perform quick failure analysis and propose actions to the team lead/supervisor.
•Knowledge of EH&S practices and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
