Job Summary

Lead the credentialing and badge program for Clay’s GTME ecosystem, owning end-to-end strategy, rubric design, and grading operations. Build a premium certificate/badge framework, manage cross-functional vendor partnerships, and scale the credentialing workflow from design through market launch. Drive governance, partnerships, and communication to ensure credentials power growth and trust across customers, partners, and the Clay community.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the credentialing strategy end to end, defining what certifications mean and what badges mean, and build the roadmap for learners from interest to credentialed practitioner.
•Define certification tiers and programs, including community badges, solutions certificates, and professional certifications, ensuring rigor and trust.
•Build and scale the badge ecosystem across programs, community, content, and platform to drive engagement and growth.
•Manage the grading pipeline, including peer-review councils, calibration, SLAs, and operational automations to handle volume with quality.
•Oversee tooling and vendor stack (Accredible vs Credly, Yoodli), and partner with GTMOps and Sales to ensure credentials are a cross-functional asset.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience building credentialing programs or educational certifications is required.
•Ability to design rubrics, assessment philosophies, and scoring rubrics that maintain high standards.
•Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills (GTMOps, Sales, Product, Vendor management).
•Systematic thinker who can ship iterative solutions and manage end-to-end programs.
•Ability to work in NYC or be open to remote work with strong preference for NYC-based candidates.
