Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop innovative mechanical solutions spanning proposal, advanced development, design, cooling, manufacturing, integration, and testing for radars, support equipment, and electronics.
  • •Perform tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function are met for intended use.
  • •Lead small teams on mechanical hardware design in fast-paced environments involving ruggedized structures, interconnects, cooling, electronics packaging, tooling, and/or array integration.
  • •Support product integration and assess requirements compliance at domestic and international factories and supplier locations.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges, manage tasks to schedule/budget/technical goals, participate in design reviews and trade studies, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience with a STEM degree (or an advanced degree with at least 5 years relevant experience).
  • •Experience creating, reviewing, and interpreting technical documentation used for hardware or tooling development/production.
  • •Mechanical design and advanced design development experience across manufacturing or tooling processes.
  • •Experience creating, releasing, or updating engineering drawings using a 3D CAD design tool.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
