Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and operation of on-prem virtualization environments focused on QEMU/KVM and OpenNebula.
•Drive migration from VMware toward a KVM-based IaC private cloud model.
•Contribute to TrueNAS to PowerFlex storage migration, including storage cluster design and operational handoff.
•Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible; contribute to IaC review and automation scripts.
•Operate and optimize distributed storage infrastructure and protocols, ensure monitoring/resilience, and lead incident root-cause resolution while mentoring junior engineers.
