Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and enforce site-wide compliance with planning permissions, planning conditions, and approved documentation including CEMPs, method statements, environmental management plans, and SDO requirements.
  • •Undertake daily site inspections to verify contractor activities align with approved submissions.
  • •Act as the primary on-site representative for planning compliance, coordinating with contractors, site managers, and subcontractors.
  • •Identify, manage, and resolve non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions with construction-informed guidance.
  • •Support the development and submission of planning compliance documentation and coordinate external stakeholder engagement including site visits by government and regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Environmental Management, Planning, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • •Significant experience in construction site-based roles with strong understanding of live construction environments and contractor operations.
  • •Proven experience in planning compliance, planning conditions, or environmental management within major construction or infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of planning permissions, CEMPs, environmental constraints, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • •Ability to interpret planning and environmental requirements and translate them into practical, buildable site solutions.
