Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, develop and manage relationships within unions and organised labour to generate new business opportunities.
  • •Proactively seek out new business opportunities and contribute to the development and rollout of the South African growth strategy.
  • •Prepare for client engagements with detailed research on client workforce, union structures and benefit requirements; present and close solutions with decision-makers.
  • •Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through closing and onboarding, ensuring timely reporting.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (consulting, servicing, operations, legal, marketing) to deliver winning client solutions and ensure smooth onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferable
  • •Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA under the FAIS Act
  • •Minimum NQF5 Wealth Management or equivalent
  • •Extensive understanding of the Employee Benefits sector (Retirement Funding, Risk Benefits and/or Healthcare Consulting)
  • •Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage complex negotiations involving multiple parties
