Job Summary

Operate a heavy diesel truck with an auxiliary concrete mixer, mixing and transporting concrete to construction sites. Load and unload by maneuvering the truck, controlling the mixer drum to keep materials workable, and releasing concrete via chute and levers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, basic maintenance, and cleaning to prevent buildup, while completing paperwork, handling payments when required, and following DOT and state/federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Maneuver the truck to loading and unloading positions at the plant and customer job sites.
•Operate the mixer to produce concrete from sand, gravel, cement, and water, adjusting mixture slump as requested.
•Assemble chutes and operate levers to release concrete per customer requests.
•Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete basic maintenance, and clean the truck after loading and deliveries.
•Fill out delivery paperwork, collect payment when required, monitor equipment, follow regulations, and drive to weigh stations along routes.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•2 years of experience as a CDL driver.
•Valid CDL A or B per DOT regulations.
