Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish whether cover is in place for each claim and ensure accurate recording on the digital claims handling system.
  • •Record all claims on the digital claims handling system and maintain thorough documentation.
  • •Investigate liability claims, either from the desk or by instructing loss adjusters, to determine liability.
  • •Make decisions on liability based on evidence, policy terms, and insurer guidelines.
  • •Negotiate settlement of claims within defined limits while meeting client SLAs and legal requirements.

  • •Experience handling liability claims across Personal Injury, Construction, and Products Liability within UK jurisdictions; ability to value injuries and apply reserving philosophies.
