Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead an interdisciplinary team of technicians responsible for all facilities operations (HVAC, fluids, electrical distribution, compressed air systems, plumbing, cranes, cryogenic systems, workplace infrastructure, fire suppression and alarm, janitorial, trash, and general building maintenance) at SpaceX’s Starlink facilities in both Redmond and Woodinville to ensure zero unplanned interruptions of services to the employees and customers
  • •Oversee and develop team of technicians, driving overall performance and effectiveness through individual coaching and development
  • •Manage third-party service providers, such as crane maintenance providers, to ensure services meet corporate standards and terms of contract
  • •Develop, plan and execute site improvement projects in accordance with overall business objectives and strategy
  • •Provide/lead on-call 24x7 support at all times

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in facilities supervision; hands-on mechanical and electrical support
  • •1+ years building management and automated facilities monitoring systems (HVAC, fluids, high-power electrical systems, telecommunications, fire suppression, generators, etc)
  • •1+ years implementing maintenance management methodologies such as TPM and RCM
  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
