Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations at ready-mix concrete plants by supervising dispatch, batching, maintenance, and quality assurance while ensuring Health & Safety compliance. Manage plant and yard staff, coach personnel, oversee stormwater/spill prevention, maintain equipment and records, and monitor daily KPIs to drive on-time delivery and zero customer complaints across the Duson and Jennings facilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership, training, supervision, and support to concrete delivery professionals and batching operations.
•Oversee dispatch operations, manage the daily workforce, and evaluate/coach supervised personnel.
•Ensure Health & Safety and environmental compliance, including daily Take 5 meetings, inspections, accident/environment investigation support, and stormwater/spill prevention.
•Maintain vehicles, equipment, and plant cleanliness; schedule repairs; ensure proper maintenance is conducted.
•Perform quality assurance and operations tasks such as daily product testing/recording, calibration maintenance, batching with proper mix design, raw material coordination, inventory control, and KPI posting.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years’ experience with ready mix concrete.
•Communicate efficiently with customers and all company personnel, and work closely with the Customer Service Manager and teams.
•Maintain extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and company products and services.
•Provide supervision experience is a plus and be a problem solver who can make judgment calls under pressure.
•Read, write, and speak English; read and understand maps; perform math for billing/volumes/quantities; maintain good computer skills to operate batching/billing/communication equipment.
