Partner with Product and Design to turn ambiguous requests into phased specifications, enforce engineering excellence through testing and CI/CD, and drive alignment with clear planning and postmortems.

•Own day-to-day agile development processes, prioritize deliverables, manage sprint planning, and resolve blockers to maintain velocity.
•Directly manage, mentor, and grow a hybrid team of engineers and contractors, setting performance standards and guiding career growth.
•Partner with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to translate user workflows and operational requests into structured technical specifications.
•Enforce engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and system documentation.
•Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scale, ensuring robust and highly available systems.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience, with understanding of software design patterns, APIs, and modern cloud backend architectures.

•Proven ability to manage a team backlog, protect against over-commitment, make resource trade-offs, and ship high-quality software.
•Knowledge of data security concepts, including secure IAM permissions, data privacy protection, and shielding PII.
