Job Summary

Perform electrical installation, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Respond to electrical breakdowns across components like motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, and breakers, diagnosing faults with minimal supervision. Use SAP to manage spare parts orders and maintenance records, ensure work complies with safety/EHS requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend to electrical breakdowns (e.g., LV-MV motors, LV switchboards, MCCs, plant lighting, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, soft starters) and complete planned preventive/predictive maintenance with minimal supervision.
•Identify and report abnormalities; repair/replace components, re-assemble, test equipment, and maintain a clean working area.
•Assess allocated jobs and select necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot electrical issues for plant and equipment with minimal/no direction.
•Use SAP to order spare parts and maintain records of maintenance work, ensuring all activities follow safety and plant operational requirements.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.
•Experience in electrical installation and troubleshooting.
•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/manuals/instructions.
