Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and implement end-to-end data architecture from ingestion through transformation to consumption, including scalable lakehouse architectures and reusable design patterns.
  • •Architect canonical data models, dimensional schemas, and semantic layers across enterprise domains such as claims, member, provider, and eligibility.
  • •Enable solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse), guiding teams on Spark optimization and Delta Lake data pipeline best practices.
  • •Establish governance, security, and compliance by defining lineage/quality/metadata frameworks, RBAC and security policies, and data quality SLAs with auditability.
  • •Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, leading architecture reviews and driving standardization across CI/CD, DataOps, and MLOps practices.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience designing enterprise data engineering architectures and driving end-to-end solutions on Azure Databricks and cloud platforms.
  • •Strong experience with Azure Databricks (mandatory), including PySpark and Delta Lake, plus Azure cloud architecture.
  • •Expertise in data architecture and data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional schemas) and lakehouse/data warehouse design patterns.
  • •Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration, CI/CD and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, Git), and data governance tooling (Unity Catalog, Purview).
  • •Ability to define and enforce data governance, access control/RBAC, security policies, and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST).
